The Loose Gravel Blues Band was formed in 1980 to open for a Charlie Musselwhite concert. Since that first gig, the
band has opened for such acts as Elvin Bishop, James Brown, Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, Delbert McClinton, the Tommy
Castro Band, Jimmy Thackery and the Drivers and many more.

Bob "Roosterfish" Dennison
The Roosterfish has been fronting blues and R&B bands since the early '60s including RD & The Showmen and the Charades.
His driving guitar rhythms and vocal style are the force behind the Loose Gravel sound. Roosterfish has previously recorded
with the Charades. He is also the host of Blues radio shows broadcast every week from the University of California Stanislaus.
The show features a comprehensive history of the blues as well as new releases and interviews with artists.

John Keith
John's solid bass lines, guitar/slide work, and rich vocals are an integral part of the LG sound. Originally from L.A.,

Steve Gaut
Adding harp and vocals to the mix, the "guru of the blues" is a founding member of LG. Over the years, Steve
has been involved in keeping the blues alive by bringing such acts as Ray Charles, Elvin Bishop, Charlie Musselwhite, and
Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers to Central California.

John King
A long time regular in central California nightclubs, John joined the band in 1984. He brought his tenor sax, bass,
and vocal stylings to the band, expanding its capabilites even further.

Rocky Siegenthaler
Another founding member of Loose Gravel, Rocky is also a well known figure in the Central California nightclub scene.
He has performed and recorded with many artists over the years as well as working as a studio musician in Los Angeles.

Hal Kent
A founding member of Loose Gravel, Hal has been working with the "Roosterfish" and Rocky since the mid '60s.
During the '70s, he toured and recorded with the Los Angeles based jazz-rock band Champion.
