John "HoundDog" Keith
January 15, 1950 - July 30, 2009
Our brother John passed away Thursday morning of heart failure after a courageous and determined yearlong battle with cancer.
In recent weeks, John had been feeling well enough to schedule himself for a solo show as well as a gig
with Loose Gravel, both for the month of August. John's sudden and unexpected passing has shocked and
saddened us beyond words.

If you have had the pleasure of hearing The Loose Gravel Blues Band then you can understand why the name was chosen.
When watching or hearing the group, you get the feeling that there's a party going on and you can't help but party along with
them. The band is serious about the blues and just as serious about simply enjoying themselves.
